“Being a dentist, I love the valuable one-on-one interactions I can establish with my patients. I consider most of my patients my friends, so it is a wonderful treat seeing them everyday. Furthermore, I admire how the staff at the Dental Associates of Rhode Island provide an incredibly supportive network and friendly team environment. I also love practicing in Johnston: I feel like I am part of a large community with a small-town feel of a tightly-knit network. Beyond being a dentist, I like to give back to my community by volunteering within the Rhode Island Disaster Medical Assistance Team’s Medical Reserve Corps. For instance, during COVID-19, I helped organize and distribute PPE for front-line workers and vulnerable populations.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, walking in the rain, spending quality time with family, and playing trivia, especially 80’s trivia. I also enjoy cooking, particularly making barbecue (but my nieces might disagree on my self-proclaimed cook status by the state of my burnt nachos). Lastly, I am personally passionate about rescuing animals. I have 2 rescue cats (Murphy and Catmandoo) and 2 rescue dogs (Olive and Tallulah), who are also the therapy dogs at the Dental Associates of Rhode Island!”
Dr. Lena graduated from the University of New England College of Dental Medicine in Portland, Maine in 2020. In addition to general dentistry, she is trained by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics to provide Botox, Filler, and Trigger Point Therapy treatment options for patients with esthetic concerns, TMJ pain, and tension headaches.
“Hi, I’m Lena, the newest doc in the office! I’m from Barrington and consider myself a Rhody through and through: I went to URI for undergrad, and Brown for my Masters in Public Health. I have the cutest French bulldog named Juniper. I love exploring new places, discovering restaurants and local businesses, going to concerts and spending a lot of time out-and-about capturing things around me with my camera or drone.
I am so incredibly blessed to be at Dental Associates of RI! The environment is relaxed and allows for creativity in how we provide the best possible care for our patients, like offering snuggles with our therapy pup, Tallulah, or wireless headphones to play music for those that may feel some nerves. Our entire team is warm and works to make every person who enters our door feel welcome and at ease. They are genuine people that I have fun with inside and outside of the office, and are what make our office such a pleasure to be every day!”
Dr. Fazli went to Boston University for postgraduate speciality training to specialize in Root Canals, and he is one of the only Root Canal Specialists in the State of Rhode Island who is currently not only a Board Certified Endodontist by the American Board of Endodontics but also a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists Canada.
“Hello and welcome to our office. I am the specialist that no one likes to see unless necessary, as the word “root canal” normally sends shivers down people’s spines. Having said that, you would be pleased to know that I am the root canal specialist for this office and have expertise to perform this procedure with your utmost comfort in mind. I have over ten years of experience practicing Endodontics and have treated thousands of root canals with a very high success rate. I have also served honorably in the United States Army Reserves for over 11 years as a Dental Officer and received numerous recognitions for my services. I will look forward to treating you should you ever need my services.”
Dr. Georgeson graduated from the University of New England in 2019 and completed a General Practice Residency at Harvard School of Dental Medicine/Boston VA Hospital.
'Hi, I’m Dr. Georgeson! I’m from Columbus, Wisconsin and went to undergrad at UW Madison, Go Badgers! I moved to the east coast for dental school, I spent a year in Boston doing a GPR before moving a little further down the coast to Providence. I work full time down the street but LOVE my Saturdays working for Dental Associates of RI! In my free time I enjoy trying new restaurants, spending time with family, hiking, and running. “I have been a full time hygienist at Dental Associates of RI since 2013. It has been great being a part of a growing family practice. I enjoy coming into work not only for my patients but having great coworkers makes the biggest difference. I am thankful to be part of a practice where everyone wants the best for our patients to feel as connected and invested in each other like a family business, which allows us to provide care like we would to our own family members.
Outside the office I mainly enjoy spending time relaxing and unwinding, occasionally driving my husband crazy! I have a 22 year old son who makes me so proud, he is smart, funny and so loving. I also have a lab mix who is the daughter I never had, she is sweet and such a love bug.”
Jaymie is your friendly hygienist who has been in the dental field since she was 15 yrs old. She first worked as a certified Dental Assistant with expanded duties for 20 years, and she achieved her dream to become a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2006 at CCRI. She also went back to school in 2010 and became certified in Local Anesthesia.
“I have enjoyed every moment of being a professional hygienist, but my biggest joy is really getting to know all my patients and feeling like I have made a connection with each and every one of them. I love sharing stories and life's moments, providing excellent dental care, and advising patients with my 38 years of dental education and experience. One of my favorite things about being here at Dental Associates of RI is working with all my wonderful colleagues. I could not have asked for a better office to work in. As a patient you will experience the fun, light- hearted feel of our office and the happiness you feel is real.
Along with a satisfying career, I enjoy my family and my 2 beautiful grandchildren with another grandbaby on the way soon. Some of my hobbies consist of staying healthy with exercise (having been a fitness instructor), healthy eating and cooking, gardening and especially painting and drawing!”

“I started working at Dental Associates of RI in 2016, where I was filling in temporarily while someone was out. Eventually it became a full time position. I love the people I work with and the team atmosphere we have. I like that we are friendly enough to even get together outside of work from time to time. It’s nice to look forward to seeing the people you work with.
A little more about me: I grew up in North Kingstown but currently live in Cranston. I have been married since 2018 and my husband and I have 3 dogs, Zeus, Oliver and King. Outside of work, I enjoy being with family and friends. I spend a lot of my free time on the bay, whether it be at the beach, on our boat, or my family’s jet skis. I enjoy watching football and even attending the occasional game.I also love cooking and traveling!”
